What Causes Green Vaginal Discharge During 19th Week Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi I am 19 weeks pregnant and I had a small dot of green discharge today. Currently using clotrimazole pessary as I was detected with an infection. Is the green dangerous? It was literally a small green dot nothing after that.
Did a scan at nearly 17 weeks Alhamdullilah everything was good.

Greenish discharge if after pessary insertion is usually caused by the expulsion of the capsule after absorption of drug.
But in case there is a lit of itching aling with copious greenish discharge in coming days then visit your gynaecologist for examination as then it can be due to trichomonal infection.

Ok thanks il finish using the pessary tonight then il see how it goes and il let you know. Also wanted to ask I have been diagnosed with glaucoma and will need treatment after with medication and drops etc is it better to bottle feed the baby rather than breast feeding due to the medication il be taking and treatment followed on?

Ok thanks doctor for all your support. InshaaAllah will be going for the next scan. Was thinking to go at 22 weeks? I did one at 16 weeks and they checked the 4 chambers of the heart etc and Alhamdullilah everything was normal. But il have to go again at 22 weeks right?

No dear after level 2 scan I usually do scan at 28 weeks for checking the growth.
At 22 weeks some gynaecologists do scan to see heart again and also blood flow to uterus as an indirect assessment of proper growth of baby in future but not a mandatory scan at least in XXXXXXX
