Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy is necessary to rule out colon cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such symptoms can be caused by partial bowels obstruction due to colon cancer. Over the age of 50 the risk of colon cancer rises. Bloating, cramps, occasional gas obstruction, stool consistency change are typical symptoms of this issue.
I suggest you to do not wait any longer with your symptoms. Especially that you have it for 2 weeks now.
Please consult your doctor. Abdominal X-ray, abdominal ultrasound, blood work should be done at first. Colonoscopy should be scheduled.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
