What Causes Frequent Urination?

default
Posted on Mon, 19 May 2014
Question: Hi,
Since past few weeks I am suffering from frequent urination. Earlier i thought it was because of de-hydration so I started drinking more water and I am taking alkasol liquid twice a day. But it din't help. I am feeling weak and lazy. I need to go to pee in every 15-20 minutes. I don't have any pain or itching in urination. But Its very distracting and I am not able to concentrate on anything. I can't study or sleep. Please suggest me something for quick relief. I have exams in a week and I am not able to focus on studies. Thanks.

It could be due to UTI.

Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have Acute UTI.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine and urinary antispasmodics like Flavoxate along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
