Brief Answer: Probably he is suffering from UTI. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Thanks for writing to HCM I have gone through your father's history and reports in detail. Most probably he is suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI). He need proper clinical examination and few more investigations. Investigations include Random blood sugar,Complete renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed. Ultrasound of abdomen can detect other associated pathology. At present he need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.Analgesics should also be given. As your father is diabetic,he is more prone to infections. WBC count is also increased due to UTI. Creatinine level is also increased,it may be due to renal involvement,so he need complete renal examination and need further investigations. Besides this, your father is also suffering from anemia. He need to take iron-zinc and folic acid tablets once daily. He should also take iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables, dates, jaggery etc. If he is non-vegetarian,he can take meat, chicken, fish etc. He should regularly take anti diabetic drugs. Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX
