Question: Would like to know what all kidney related test , I should undergo as i am regular gym goer and take whey protein twice a day. now stopped.
since last few months , my urine freq is increased(every 2 - 3 hrs) and at times there is small froth around it in toilet.
My uric and sugar glucose test are ok (2 weeks back done) so now what all kidney test , I should undertake to check if there is protein(Kidney leakage, if any) in urine.

There are multitude of tests that you can undergo to check for renal function, but to be more specific in your case, there is a need to test
1. urinalysis for detection of protein, microalbuminuria and creatinine clearance test.
2. Blood investigations like serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen etc.
3. kidney functioning tests like Glomerular filtration rate.
Since you are concerned more with frequency of urination and presence of froth, let me assure you that they both are nota cause for worry and they are normal physiological changes due to increased fluid intake.
