What Causes Frequent Muscle Injury While Jogging And Running?

default
Posted on Tue, 31 May 2016
Question: I keep pulling and straining and tearing muscles while either jogging slowly, or running. Nothing like this has ever happened to be before. I am wondering if there could be something wrong with my body that could be causing this. It's my groin, my hamstrings, my quads, my calf. I have always kept myself in pretty good shape and now for some reason I can't do any exercise without hurting myself.

Brief Answer:
It is mostly due to lack of salt and calcium

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. frequent muscle injury is suggestive of either low calcium or salt in body. It is also common if you are taking any medications. So I will suggest you following.
1.Take One glass of water with salt during and before exercise. Salt comes out of the body through sweat and it's deficiency causes muscle spasm and cramps.
2.Take one gram calcium daily with 60000 unit vitamin D3 weekly for six weeks.
3.Tablet carnisure is also useful in your case.
4.Take high protein diet like egg, fish, chicken.
5.Do proper warm up before starting exercises.Avoid extreme cold as it makes muscle stiff and prone for injury.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
