Brief Answer: Oral Hydration; Skin Moisturization! Detailed Answer: Hi there. I do understand your query & empathise with you. Itching in the ear may be a pesky issue & need not be wax related. Having said that, there is a condition called 'seborrheic dermatitis' that you appear to ail from. Perhaps using ear plugs before bathing to keep the canal dry is one thing you can try. Use of plain simple mineral oil (room temp)..a few 'drops' each ear on alternate days may also help relieve the symptoms. Should you prefer a cream to natural therapy, might I suggest use of a cream called Sensibio DS from a company called Bioderma which will surely help relieve symptoms & being non-steroidal can safely be used any number of times & for extended periods. It will act like a moisturiser. I do hope these suggestions help & you are soon symptom free. On account of your general dryness, there may not be 100% resolution so the secret is to continuously 'hydrate' & 'moisturise'. Cheers. Good Luck & Godspeed!
