Brief Answer:
For how long has this being going on?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I will like to know for how long these symptoms have been going on. Also, is your stool soft or hard in consistency? Also, what is your sexual orientation?

The most common cause of blood in stool are hemorrhoids. It is quite difficult to tell what the exact cause of these symptoms is without appropriate examination. If this has been going on for more than a week, I will suggest that you get a consultation for this to be evaluated.

Frequents stools and loosing hair are not typically related We would have expected something like constipation and loosing hair which is more suggestive of a low functioning thyroid. With these symptoms not being very clear, there would be need for a physical examination and a more detailed interview to pick up more clues that would help orientate towards diagnosis and management.

For now, provide the above requested information and any more symptoms that you may have. I will again look at your complete package before making final suggestions and recommendations.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
Do you have anal sex?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you are straight and have been having anal sex, then this could actually represent a possible anal infection. I will suggest that you get evaluated by you doctor to understand what could be responsible for these symptoms.

As for the hair loss, it would not be a bad idea to get your TSH levels measured just to make sure there is nothing we are missing out on here/

I wish you well.
