What Causes Foul Smelling Stools?
Question: 22 month old toddler has sour smelling and gritty stools on a regular basis. What could this be and should i be concerned?

If the stools are not watery ,generally you need not worry.
The consistency is related to the type of semisolid food you give..
Watch whether a particular food item is causing this - like semi cooked food, or dairy items, etc
Food allergy is very common but they are usually associated with vomiting or loose stools.
Weight gain of the baby is another reassuring factor!
