Brief Answer:
Alpha agonist group of medicine like Brimonidine may lead to nasal dryness

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

In case of glaucoma, Alpha agonist group of medicine like Brimonidine may lead to dryness in the nose.

Due to dryness in the nose, it may lead to increased crust formation in the nose because of which you may feel bad smell in the nose.

Also if you are suffering from chronic sinusitis (symptoms like Nasal blockage, nasal discharge, headache etc), then also you may feel bad smell in the nose. So as you see, you need to rule out the possibility of sinusitis too.

If nasal dryness is the cause, then you may get relief by using Saline nasal spray.

Sleeping with a dry mist humidifier in your bedroom can help increase the humidity in your room, which can provide relief to your dry nasal passages. Also do take steam inhalation.

Make sure you help your body from the inside by staying hydrated. Drinking plenty of fluids like water can help moisturize your nose from the inside out preventing crust formation.

Hope this answers your question. I would be happy to answer if you have any follow-up questions.

Take care.
