Question: i have pain in my forehead and it is amplified when i cough. i originally thought it was sinus related but i don't have any congestion or runny nose.

I read your question and i understand your concern. pain on forehead worsened by coughing is likely frontal and ethmoidal sinusitis , one may not feel congestion in those sinuses inflammation.

I would like you to continue with the home remedies for the cough and cold and consider visiting an otorhinolaryngologist for an x-ray of sinuses and likely prescription of an antibiotic.

Prefer warm comforting beverages like green tea or herbal tea mixed with honey, drink plenty of fluids and stay compliant with the medications and hope for the best.
