What Causes Floating Feeling With Headache?
Question: I have been having electricity running in my scalp, and riging in my ear, I have been to ENT doctor they ruled out vertigo, I went to a neurology had a mri scan done, and it came back normal, when i lay down and closed my eyes, I feel like I am floating. do not know what else to do. the back of my head hurts, I am having another VNG testing this week. Also when I place a cold ice back on top of my head it goes away. and my bottom tooth hurts

I suggest you to re consult ent surgeon, get detailed ent examination. all this medical conditions are diagnosed by detailed history and clinical examination as most of the investigations are always negative. I also opine to undergo audiometry (ringing could be due to hearing loss or Eustachian tube dysfunction), vestibular tests for floating feeling. Treatment can be started as per the findings.
