What Causes Flat Brown Spots On Face In Children?

Question: just noticed on my 7 year old grandson 3 flat brown spots on face. One on his nose, one on his cheek and one on his chin. They look the color of a mole but perfectly flat and round and the size of a freckle but darker. He did not have them a week ago. What is this?

Brief Answer:
PLease, provide a photo for this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these brown spots that you have mentioned on your grandson. Because they cause no symptoms and do not disturb him in any way, it would most likely be benign in nature. However, I will like to see an image of the spots so that I can be very sure that they do no represent anything beyond the ordinary. Please, follow the instructions on the question interface and upload an image for review.

I hope this helps. I look forward to providing more information this based on the image. I wish your grandson well.
