What Causes Fever, Sore Throat, Lower Back Pain And Rash On The Legs?
Question: symptoms: 102.9 fever, chills, sweating, cough, sore throat, low back pain, rash on lower legs. Tests: negative for strep, flu, virus, urine blood but no uti. Prostate cancer one year ago with successful surgery.

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
It is good you have already asked for medical help and had some tests done.
The fact that you have a rash in your legs with some blood in urine and no urinary infection identified while you are in the terrain of a possible viral infection than the first thing that might come to ones mind is Henoch Schonlein Purpura.
This is a disease that happens after a viral infection with cough or upper respiratory symptoms (sore throat) and than progress to affect the skin, kidneys and joints. Not all the patients have all the symptoms.
This condition is more common in children less than 10 years old but might, even though rare, happen in elder people also. Elder people have higher chance for the kidneys to be effected compared to children.
If you have taken the antibiotics for at least 2-3 days and not improved than very likely they are not going to help and you will need to do a review with your doctor and ask him tests that might help diagnose or rule out Henoch Schonlein purpura.
