Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

I'm sorry you had this scary event!

What did you choke on?
Did all of it come out?
Are you having any breathing difficulties now?
How much blood came up (e.g. 1 tsp, 1 Tbsp, etc)?
Has anymore blood come up?

I will write with information as soon as I hear back.

Information

Detailed Answer:
If the bleeding has stopped, and you are able to breathe adequately and comfortably, the irritation from forcibly coughing up the food (and likely breaking some small capillaries) will heal and resolve.

If the tightness continues, and you are still vomiting blood, go in to the ER. There they can listen to your lungs and possibly get a chest X-ray or other exam to see what is going on.
