Brief Answer:
Just wait and watch for 1-2 days,

Detailed Answer:
Hello
welcome to health care magic, I share your concern.
Looking at your description, Leaking after bowel movement after colonoscopy procedure might be related to fistula, ruptured mucosa (internal lining of bowel wall), incomplete resection of polyp/ hemorhoids or at time inflammation of intestinal mucosa following the procedure.

I would advise you to take ishabgol husk with lukewarm water, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and just keep a close watch if amount of leakage Hello XXXXXXX
Welcome to health care magic, I have gone through your question very diligently and I share your concern.

At the outset I would like further information for better assessment like
if possible upload a photograph of pigmentation
since how long it has been there
Are you having any itching and burning sensation?

Since you were not getting results and pigmentation is increasing further I would advise you to avoid picorn cream for a while and continue with Melano Tx alone

Melano Tx Cream contains Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Mulberry Extract, Tranexamic Acid, and Vitamin E. Kojic Acid is depigmenting agent, continue using it at night.

Meanwhile please follow these measures as well
Avoid direct sun exposure or use sun screen lotion when you go out.
Have healthy diet habit, consisting of lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and low fat, low salt and low sugar diet.

Since you have talked about Alternative medicine, I am also trained in alternative medicine, In my opinion you should continue with Melano Tx and adopt healthy lifestyle and stress free life

Since it takes a long time even 2-4 months to get results, so continue using this cream and just relax.

Hope this answers your question, please do write back to me with these details I have asked for, so that I will be able to guide you better.
wishing you good health.
Regards
further, in such a case you need to consult your doctor immediately.

Meanwhile in my opinion, just wait and watch for 1-2 days it will subside, if it doesn't improve than you need to see your doctor for examination and repeat colonoscopy if need be.

Hope this answers your question, please feel free o ask for follow up question I will gladly answer you.
wishing you good health and speedy recovery.
Regards

This has been an ongoing problem, last colonoscopy was almost 5 years ago, and when the stool does leak, i get a burning and itching, and hate having to wipe my self again as it burns, more burning then itching, as far as the pigmentation of the stool it varies in color, there are time i don't have a bowel movement for several days, then I go depending on time, I could sit on bowl for 45 min, or go 3 -4 times in a day, and then the next day. I family has history of colon cancer maternal side, I am due another I believe this year or 2020.

Brief Answer:
It's not necessary that you will get colon cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hello
thanks for your follow up question
You just don't worry about possibility of colon cancer due to family history.
Chances are there but it's not necessary that you will get it.

I would advise you to adopt healthy life style like
Try to avoid constipation by taking lshabgol husk, more of dietary fiber, lots of fruits and vegetables.
Laxative like liquid paraffin or lactulose in case of chronic constipation.
Avoid smoking and drinking and frozen and smoked food.

Just relax and don't think about colon cancer.
If it remains the same than I would advise you to consult your doctor again and repeat colonoscopy or CT scan if need be.

Hope this answers your question.
Wishing you good health.

But I also seem to have roller coaster potassium lvls, sometimes when I get bloodwork done it is low, then other times it is normal, I am right now some heart issues, and during which it was low. then recent tests normal. I have not changed my diet to much except added more fiber to it, only eating wheat bread, an oatmeal, and other fiberous foods, just got blood work for thyroid, waiting on results.
