Detailed Answer:
Hello!

I passed carefully through your question and would that a cardiac cause can not be excluded considering your symptoms.

Other possible causes to consider would be : a lung disorder, musculo-skeletal pain, Propranolol adverse effects (it is known to cause shortness of breath and low physical performance), etc.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:

- A resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- A cardiac ultrasound
- A chest X ray study and pulmonary function tests
- Complete blood count, for anemia
- PCR, ESR for inflammation
- Blood electrolytes

An exercise cardiac stress test would help investigate for coronary artery disease.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
