Brief Answer:
Tests

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to learn about your bothersome symptoms.

1 I see you are not on any cholesterol lowering medication despite having had a stent. Was it not a heart stent?

2 Your A!c is in the Pre diabetic range. You must avoid diabetes with weight loss, healthful eating and increased physical activity. There is a medication called metformin that can help. Discuss with your doctor whether this is worth considering for you.
When I see someone like you in my practice, I typically order the following blood tests in addition to a detailed physical examination:

CBC (Complete Blood Count, also known as Hemogram; includes Hemoglobin, WBC and Platelet counts)
Electrolytes (Sodium and Potassium in particular)
Liver function tests (SGOT , SGPT, Albumin, Bilirubin, Alkaline Phosphatase)
Kidney function tests (BUN, Creatinine)
TSH (checks your thyroid)
25 hydroxy Vitamin D levels (ideal range 40 to 60 ng/ml = 100 to 150 nmol/liter)

None of these tests require any fasting and can be done at any time of the day

thanks very much
I had taken numerous statin and couldnt tolerate them. I am taking Repatha and so far it is working well, Cholesterol was 147 this week.
I have had all of the test done and will see if I can find them for you to review also. I have the prescription for metformin. I read the information on the medication and it said it would affect oxygen levels. I have been afraid to take it since my oxygen levels drop. I am fighting to keep them up ...sleeping with oxygen now..will have to research the blood work
however, I do not believe that any of the test showed anything out of line.
I did see a nuerologist and he is sending me for an MRI in a couple of weeks.
I am getting even more scared since no one can figure out the problem. Thanks and will send the blood work when I locate it..maybe you will have more ideas. have a good night.
