Question: 57 yo woman with pain in back, neck and shoulders, extreme fatigue, Nausea and Vomiting of 13 days duration. Small amount of blood in urine for which she is being treated with antibiotics for pyelonephritis. Was gardening (San XXXXXXX TX) before the onset of symptoms & signs. Complains of itching in scalp. Saw an apparent insect bite on the scalp. Complains of extreme fatigue

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your clinical history is concerned please let me know few more things about it to confirm it clinically.

1) Do you have a rash on biting site it looks like bull's -eye pattern, with red outer ring surrounding a clear area. The rash is called as erythema migrans and one of the important clinical sign of LYME disease, if you can not recognize it, do get it examined by your dermatologist/physician and s/he will clarify it.

2) Do you have any headache and/ history of fever?
