Question: I just had a situation where I almost passed out and couldn,t get off the floor because of extreme dizziness for about 30 minutes,
and had pain in my neck and back. What caused this? xxxxxxxx(age 76)

After going through the medical details provided by you i would like to tell you that at your age group there are few important things that could have caused these symptoms.

1. Low sugar levels
2. Low blood pressure
3. Any valvular pathology of heart
4. Cardiac rhythm abnormality
5. Cervical Spondylosis

To find out the underlying cause some important tests need to be done

1. HBa1C
2. Blood pressure monitoring
3. Echocardiography
4. Holter Monitoring
5. X Ray Cervical Spine
