Due to fracture
he feels pain on move.
Thanks for writing to us,
I have studied your case with diligence.
Due to fracture neck femur he feels pain on any hip or body movement so he is lying supine in bed without making any body movement.
Due to static position he may feel sleepy.
Another possibility of electrolyte imbalance
due to fracture.
There is very less possibility of displaced fracture neck femur to unite non surgically.
Non weight bearing for few weeks is very important .And physiotherapy
in form of CPM [continuous passive motion] can be started later.
You may need to check his electrolyte and after few days rest hip physiotherapy can be started.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
