Question: Hi, From last 3-4 months I am feeling that I have excess Salvia in my mouth, I never had this problem before and no one in my family had such issue, although I don't face any problem while sleeping but I feel uncomfortable while speaking. I never thought about it seriously, but now I am not liking this and want to get rid of this problem, please let me know what are the reasons and treatment of this problem.

Brief Answer:
Possible Hypersalivation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I understand your concern.

This could be hypersalivation/drooling.

This can be caused by dysregulation of the neurohormonal system.

This can be a common problem.

I generally recommend my patients oral tablets of Glycopyrrolate for 3 months to effectively treat this problem. Please check with your doctor if he shares my view and if can prescribe them to you.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
