I had blood work done last week. Today my doctors nurse called and said the doctor wanted to see me because my liver enzymes were high. I asked what they were and she said 2.11, I asked what the norm was, she said, 0.70 ??
Thanks

Brief Answer:
It can be due to alcohol or medicines.

Detailed Answer:
This sounds like a AST to ALT ratio ( both are liver enzymes). If so, your result is high and can be caused by alcohol or medicines intake. If you have had any of theese, it can ve the reason and you should limit them.

Regards.
