Brief Answer: Not a severe damage, Just a little help Detailed Answer: Thank you for asking! Reflux is one strong factor for recurrent otitis medias. Now that you have fixed it and pain is still there i believe you need to see visit an otorhinolaryngologist for a complete detailed examination and assess the damage. You will need 500 mg amoxicillin twice a day for 5 days at least. Topical ear lidocaine and ciprofloxacin drops will help the pain. Oral acetaminophens can also help. Don't worry ear pain is not a severe damage. All it needs is some antibiotics and some pain management. Get to an otorhinolaryngologist and let him fix it for you. Take care and dont forget to close the discussion please.May the odds be ever in your favour. S Khan
