What Causes Drowsiness And Headache Post Intake Of Alprax?
Question: Hi, i have taken 7 tablets of Alprax 0.25 mg. I am feeling sleepy and having headache. What should i do ? Should i sleep or stay awake ? If i sleep then for how much time i won't wake up?

Hello Doctor,
i had asked my doctor if i could sleep after the overdose. She said it's not that big a dose and that there's not a problem if i slept. i didn't have my dinner but i drank 2 glasses of saline water after which i did vomit at night. I did sleep at night and i woke up on time.Only problem i face since morning is that i am not able to walk normally i.e i do stumble at times and my walk seem to be incoherent sometimes. i feel slightly weak and a little less energetic. Do i still need to see a doctor or it would get better. Pls advice. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reverting back to me.
I am glad to know you vomited so there was not a serious effect of overdose. Since it has passed around eight hours from intake and you are in safe zone.
I do not think you need to visit doctor for overdose but there is definite need to see a doctor to prevent such recurrences.
