Brief Answer:
Suggestive of benign positional vertigo.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for posting your query on healthcare magic.

Based on the history given you seem to be suffering from a condition called "benign positional vertigo".

It is one of the most common causes of vertigo or the sudden sensation that you're spinning or that the inside of your head is spinning.

Most of the time, its exact cause is not known. In some cases it may be due to some underlying disease of the vestibular labyrinth in the inner ear or during prolonged positioning on your back, such as in a dentist chair. It is also associated with migraine headache.

I advise you to consult an ENT specialist for further evaluation and certain lab tests like Electronystagmography to confirm the diagnosis and possible treatment.

Meanwhile if you experience dizziness associated with benign positional vertigo, consider these tips:

1. Be aware of the possibility of losing your balance, which can lead to falling and serious injury.
2. Sit down immediately when you feel dizzy.
3. Use good lighting if you get up at night.
4. Walk with a cane for stability if you're at risk of falling.
5. Work closely with your doctor to manage your symptoms effectively.

Hope the advice given above would be useful.
Should you have follow up query, I shall be glad to answer it.
Best wishes.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Suggestive of benign positional vertigo.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome back.
Thanks for your reply.

The exact cause of positional vertigo is not known. However, the inner ear appears to play an important role in the development of symptoms.

Inside your inner ear is a tiny organ called the vestibular labyrinth. It includes three loop-shaped structures (semicircular canals) that contain fluid & fine, hair like sensors that monitor the rotation of your head.

Other structures (otolith organs) in your ear monitor movements of your head up and down, right and left, back and forth and your head's position related to gravity. These otolith organs contain crystals that make you sensitive to gravity.

For a variety of reasons, these crystals can become dislodged. When they become dislodged, they can move into one of the semicircular canals especially while you're lying down. This causes the semicircular canal to become sensitive to head position changes it would normally not respond to, which is what makes you feel dizzy.

Hope I could answer your query.
Best regards.

no ringing I'm my ears, it don't matter how I'm positioned, it's constantly mild when I first wake up but gets intense once I get up moving, and once I get up moving I can feel my legs get shaky while standing and feel like I'm tilting as I walk... lying down is along a relief because as I'm lying down I get these wave feelings in my head on either side I lay
