What Causes Dizziness, Itchy Skin And Depression After Having Fentanyl Injections?
Question: My granddaughter was given a fentanyl injection in her back. She received 6 injections at the same time. I think she is having a reaction to the drug. I have looked up the side effects of fentanyl an she has plenty of them. We do not know what to do to take the reaction away. We are giving her benedryl tablets and the itch cream for benedryl. She is very itchy, loopy in her head, cannot concentrate on school work. she is very tired a lot of the time. Most of the time. She is very depressed over her condition. she cannot stay awake. she throws up every day. She is very dizzy and unable to walk straight. She needs help washing in he bath tub. She is very weak. She can not do anything alone. She is on prescribed drugs for other conditions. Can you please help me? My e-mail is YYYY@YYYY . Her perscriptions meds are: Abilify, omeprazole, fluoxetine, iron, aleve, zonisamide. trazodone. aviane birth control pills, and somnapure (which is not a prescription). it is supposed to help her to sleep.
