Question: Hello Doctor,

I have reached out earlier regarding my illness. I am having series of issues right now, and have visited many doctors in US. Nobody is being able to identify the issue. I am having weakness, dizziness, light headedness and feels like I no energy left and always need to lie down since last 3 weeks. If I do any daily routine also I feel exhausted. I also have constant bodyache (Most of the times I feels the nerve inside my body is pulling and causing so much pain). I feel like there is too much of cough and mucus in my chest past numerous months that never goes away.It is hampering my sleep at night and I had to ask my husband to message my body with warm oil. I tried the flu test which came out negative, even Mono test and blood test, and also urine test are all negative. SO is there any way to know what is going on with me. Is there possibility there can hormonal disbalance.

Earlier I was having rectal bleeding so had to do coloscopy and upper endioscopy. Gastroentologist whom I see was able to remove 2 benign polyps, but the pain is still there and was told to have polyethyl glycol every day before going to bed. I was being told I am prediabetic so cant drink few sugary drinks like prune juice which has fibre in it. I am having PCOS, so what are the ways I can control this.Are these could be the issues that is causing problems to my health right now.

Apart from this I am having problems with my gall bladder for which I have done HIDA scan and currently the contraction is 46% so there I feel the heaviness which is always there. I was told surgery is not mandatory by few doctor in this website as well as by my Gastroentologist. Is there any possibility for the gall bladder to become normal like before.

I really want to go back to my normal life, can someone please help me. I am seriously leading a rough life. Right now what I am facing is this anything to do with hormonal dislalance, how to know that. Hello,

One more thing I forgot to mention was that I have lost weight from 150 lb to 150 lbs in 3 weeks.

Brief Answer:
Synacten stimulation test suggested;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone through your concern carefully.

From your description, I would suggest to rule out adrenal insufficiency.

You mentioned that the physician has done many blood tests but Synacten stimulation test is the one that checks cortisol production by adrenal glands.

Cortisol is a steroid hormone that regulates a wide range of processes throughout the body, including metabolism and the immune response. It also has a very important role in helping the body respond to stress.

I suppose thyroid function is normal.
Please discuss with your treating physician about Synacten stimulation test.

Hope this information will help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
