default
Posted on Mon, 21 Sep 2015
Question: I have been dizzy randomly when I am already standing, heavy headed dizziness. Also, after I eat & nausea. I am 5'5" 210 lbs. Gained around 10 lbs this past week. My stomach is distended like I am pregnant (not pregnant), yet there is no pain. I am tired for no reason. My glucose was tested 84. No ear infection. My eye has been twitching and running clear ( not sure if realated). Md suggested I take low dose iron daily, but it hasn't helped. I have cold chills randomly. History of colitis, no gallbladder, c-secition. Please help. Thanks !

Brief Answer:
I would have your thyroid tests performed

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. Sorry to hear about your medical problem, please not that it sounds like you may have a thyroid imbalance like hypothyroidism. Please visit with your doctor to have your TSH and Free T4 checked. That is where I would start. I hope this helps, good luck and thanks.
