Hi
Welcome to healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

It would be really very helpful if you could provide me the following additional information for me to be able to assist you better

1. since how long have you been experiencing this pain/discomfort?

2. Was there any history of injury / sprain sustained ?

3. Is there any swelling or discolouration of overlying skin?

4. Do you experience these symptoms on exertion like walking or physical activity ?

5. Did you have prolonged bout of coughing or respiratory infection preceding this complaint?

From your present description of symptoms its likely to be Pleuritic pain ( mild inflammation of Covering of lung ) . Presently you can consider taking analgesics like Ibuprofen which will provide you much needed relief

Brief Answer:
Likely to be Musculoskeletal pain

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

Thanks for the reply

Going by description of your symptoms its unlikely to be a major issue, its more likely to be musculoskeletal sprain and muscle spasm.

I would suggest you the following

1. Hot water fomentation: Local application of fomentation by hot water bag or cloth dipped in hot water and intermittently applied for few seconds will provide much needed relief

2. Analgesics like Ibuprofen will be helpful

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance ,will be glad to assist you

Shobha Deepak
