Brief Answer:
Globus pharyngeus

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

You have globus pharyngeus. It is secondary to acid reflux. Omeprazole is a good medication to control acid reflux symptoms.

Omeprazole along with dietary/lifestyle changes will provide complete relief.

If there is no relief in spite of the above mentioned treatment, 24 hours pH monitoring test may be done to see if there is really an acid reflux.

Regards,
Dr.R.K.
