Brief Answer:
please do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Please do not worry so much. You seem to be having polycystic ovarian syndrome. This occurs due to hormonal imbalance that affects the development and release of female eggs. This is very common in the modern world and is related to increased stress as well as lifestyle factors.

It is not a serious condition. The only issue is the development of the egg. So it is wise to get a follicular study done to know if the egg is developing properly and getting released. If it is developing and releasing then there is no need to worry as conception can occur without any external aids.

If the eggs are not developing then use of drugs like clomiphene [ for 3 cycles only] along with monthly monitoring of the follicle size and drugs like HCG to help release the ova can be used. So please do not worry.

Other measures that help restoring the hormonal environment are weight loss especially loosing fat around the belly as excess fat alters the natural hormone levels. Drugs like metformin can be used if the principal problem is in the insulin hormone. So getting a hormone profile done on day 2-3 of a normal cycle [ where drugs for assisting reproduction have not been used] helps understand the disturbance.

Following a healthy lifestyle, destressing, daily exercise and yoga as well as avoiding food with oil and spices helps tone the body and restore hormonal balance.

So do not worry many women with this condition have healthy babies so go ahead and get evaluated and start treatment.

Best of luck.
Hope this satisfies your query.
