Brief Answer:
Hepatosplenomegaly with diarrhea indicate some underlying infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Hepatosplenomegaly will never cause diarrhea. Hepatosplenomegaly is a presenting feature of some other reason or underlying cause. So is diarrhea.
Both these are actually symptoms and signs of some other underlying disease or infection which has not yet been diagnosed.
From medications as I see you are treating only the symptoms. The main causative reason is still untouched.
You will need a detailed blood workup to find for the reason. These symptoms commonly seen in people with some kind of immunodeficiency or tick born infections.
I would like to advice you to consult a gastroenterologist and get done proper workup of yourself so as to find the exact cause which are manifesting as hepatospelomegaly and chronic diarrhea and treat that cause. If it is treated then the symptoms you mentioned will also go away.
I hope I have answered your query well. If you have any more query kindly write back.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
You can wait till next follow up and see the results

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for following up.
It was good that you mentioned all the drugs that you are taking.
Whatever drugs you are taking are antacids, gut antibiotics, probiotics. These meds will take care of the chronic diarrhoea that you are suffering from.
You are on right medications and it will be advisable to complete the course of meds as advised by your doctor. It is not a reason to be panicked.
You complete the course, see the effects and when you are going to see doctor on 9th kindly consult a gastroenterologist also along with.
Medications are all rightly advised. Also keep yourself well hydrated.
In diet avoid spicy and oily food stuff. Otherwise all the items which are home made are ok to consume.
I hope you have a speedy recovery. If you have any more queries kindly write back to me.
Thank you
