Brief Answer:
Stop antibiotic, give probiotics and send urine cultures

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

First of all, it is sad to know what your mother had to go through. Based on the history you have shared, it seems that the diarrhea can be drug induced and it's right approach that you stopped the antibiotics however for UTI right approach would now be to have urinalysis repeated and urine cultures and sensitivity to be repeated and antibiotics choice should be made on that basis.

However priliminary antibiotics cover if needed, ciprofloxacin can be a good choice which can cover both UTI and gut. Meanwhile probiotics and soft diets can be started. Oral rehydration salts to ensure to overcome the water and electrolytes loss should be started.

Wishing her a speedy recovery . If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
