Brief Answer:
Consult your doctor who prescribed it

Detailed Answer:
hi and welcome.
first,I am not sure if this was good reason to start amitriptyline at all. but they probably had some reason so for further plans you should consult doctor. generally,if this was taken only for one short period then it can be stopped with no risks but if this was taken longer then it should be gradually reduced. if you have depression symptoms now then there is no prurpose to take it. Wish you good health. Regards
