Brief Answer:
A few problems need to be addressed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing back.

I understand your concern and will try to answer your question and help you resolve them to the best of my ability.

Unprotected sexual intercourse exposes you to the risk of contracting diseases which are sexually transmitted and it can also result in an unwanted pregnancy, so there are two main problems that need ruling out in your case.

A missed period can mean pregnancy unless ruled out by repeated pregnancy tests at home or at a lab. I would like you to get a home pregnancy kit and check if you are pregnant and repeat the test every three days once for a total of 5 times to be absolutely sure that you are not pregnant.

Now the other problem is of infections you might have contracted from your partner, this is very important to rule out because of your symptoms such as vaginal discharge, burning and itching, these symptoms are not due to pregnancy.

You should consult a gynecologist and get yourself examined and tested as advised by the gynecologist to rule out the possibility of sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, gonorrhea etc.,

Apart from this, you should also get a blood Beta HCG level tested to find out if you are pregnant, this blood test will be positive much earlier than the urine pregnancy test, so it would be ideal in your case.

Please get a vaginal swab culture and sensitivity along with urine routine exam and culture done for the infections.

Once these are confirmed or ruled out, we can discuss about treatment options.

I hope this will help you.

Wishing you good health.

Warm regards.
