What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Depo Injection?
Question: Hi, I've took depo injection (prevent pregnancy) since year 2012.. And yet my mensense never came in order.. Example like on January came few dots, February came 2days, March never till 2-3mths, after that came few dots again.. But I worried was my stomuch getting bigger.. Now I've already stopped the injection, but yet I've not yet come my mensense.. My last injection was February 2014.. What should I do or eat something? Thanks

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Depo injection have a common side effect of irregularity in menses and there is nothing to worry about the same.
Right now dont do anything because the injection you took in february 2014 will have its effect on menses for three months.
So wait for your next periods and in case you dont get them within 2 weeks of completion of 3 months of injection then visit a gynecologist for prescription of medicines for getting periods.
After you get your periods start using other method of contraception so as to have regularity of periods and get relieved from botheration caused by it.
