Brief Answer:
no chance of pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,

Please do not worry at all.

You had regular periods after the episode.

I will explain to you the principal of how periods and pregnancy behave and it will help ease the stress.

Normally in a 28 -30 days menstrual cycle, one female egg develops and matures by the 14th day from the date of the last period. It gets released from the ovary and is available to be fertilized by a sperm for only 24-36 hours. After that it gets destroyed. So if there is no sperm then pregnancy will not occur. Dry humping does not lead to sperm deposition and also sperms need a lot of energy to travel from the cervix to the tube to meet the female egg. It is virtually impossible for them to travel so far if they are deposited outside the vagina as they do not have that much energy.

While the female egg is developing, the uterine lining also develops to make it suitable for the attachement of the baby in case a pregnancy occurs. If there is no pregnancy, the hormone levels drop 14-16 days after ovulation and the uterine lining can no longer grow as it needs those hormones. So it gets shed as menstrual blood. Once this happens, a new cycle starts and a new egg begins to develop.

So now this new egg will mature in the next 14 days and a seperate act of coitus is needed now in this cycle and new sperms must be deposited for a pregnancy to occur.
If there is a pregnancy, this shedding does not occur and periods do not come as the pregnancy continue to form hormones needed for growth of the uterine lining. Hence once you had a normal period after the act means that the act did not cause a pregnancy.

So every time when the egg is available , only at that time can a complete sexual act lead to pregnancy. If pregnancy does not occur in this act then both the sperm and ovum will get destroyed and no pregnancy can result.

So it is impossible for you to become pregnant from that act. Once the ovum of that act got destroyed, you had a period and so now there is absolutely no chance of pregnancy from that act.

So please stop worrying about a pregnancy. There are other reasons for delayed periods and common ones are hormonal imbalances and stress.

You can discuss these with your nurse or health assistant and get evaluated for the reason. There is no need to discuss the dry humping episode as it has come and gone. Most of the time nothing needs to be done just regular exercise [ moderate and not excessive exercise as excess exercise also delays periods] and a good diet, mental relaxation by yoga and meditation and the problem self corrects.

I hope I have clarified the issue to the best of my knowledge. Just let me know if there are any more worries.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
itching and discharge indicate an infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

It is normal to have an irregular period after the pill. You had a normal period after that for 5 days, so please do not worry about pregnancy.

The delay this time is most likely due to stress or a minor hormonal abnormality. The itching and discharge indicate an infection. So you may need to use vaginal tablets for them. But they can be given only after examination. Commonly used ones are tablets containing clindamycin and clotrimazole for 7 days inserted every night before bedtime. Also change your clothes twice daily and wash them with hot water and dry them in the sun to kill any germs.

I suggest that you just wait for the period for another 2 weeks. If they are still delayed then see a doctor. Simple pills like progesterone containing ones like primolute N taken twice daily for 3 days are sufficient to cause bleeding one week after stopping the pill in most cases.

Please do not worry. This is not due to pregnancy. The constipation occurs due to stress, improper diet or lack of sleep. Adding fruits and green vegetables in plenty along with a lot of water helps to relieve it. If it still persists a tablet of dulcolax taken at night with a glass of warm water helps solve the issue.

Please do not worry. Just wait and do not get stressed as it will further delay the periods. They will come after a few days.

Take care.
