Brief Answer:
PCOS should be ruled out. Follow the guideline.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) If your recent pregnancy test is NEGATIVE and GYNASET fails to induce your period, then we need to rule out underlying pathology like Poly Cystic Ovary, over weight or obesity, irregular diet pattern, pelvic infection etc. Mental stress and emotional upset are associated factors.

2) I suggest you to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan and complete hormone profile (serum Prolactin, LH/ FSH, progesterone, Testosterone, TSH, DHEAS), hemoglobin% etc to pinpoint the diagnosis.

3) You may need to take combined hormonal pill to induce and regularize period after reviewing test reports. Kindly, consult with your nearest OBGYN for proper guidance and complete prescription.

4) You must take a healthy balanced diet with IRON supplements or foods. LOW carbohydrate is preferable. Avoid salty, fatty or fast food. Take more green vegetables.

5) Do light to moderate exercise for physical fitness, weight control and avoid mental stress completely by regular meditation/ yoga. Maintain a healthy life style always.

Hope, it helps for your information. Wish your good health and take care.

Brief Answer:
Not always normal. Do basic investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Welcome back again.

Most women get their period within 5-10 days after stopping GYNASET. However, some may NOT get their period through progesterone pill alone due to underlying pathology like PCOS etc.

I suggest you to await another 3-4 days to get period naturally. If you don't get it by this time, you should consult with local gynecologist for above mentioned tests and prescription for combined hormonal pill. Supportive medication may be added according to reports.

Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.
