Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms are suggestive of respiratory problem. If a patient comes to me with these symptoms i usually start them on the following measures.
1. salt warm water gargling 4 times a day
2.steam inhalation 3-4 times a day.
3. antihistamine medication like cetrizine for couple of days to reduce any increased nasal secretion that may cause nasal block or post nasal secretion and hence the problem.
4. Avoid cold food items for few days.

Along with this get done spirometry test and absolute eosinophyll count tests just to rule out and asthma or COPD (a chronic disease of lungs) and to rule out allergy.

Lyrica may not help here. Continue symbicort inhaler twice daily (have to follow correct procedure: otherwice wont be helpful) and take NSAID like aceclofenac with muscle relaxant like chlorzoxazone or tizanidine which will relieve pain due to any inflammation and also cause muscle relaxation (take care of musculo skeletal pain).

Along with the above measures breathing exercise will be very helpful in faster recovery.

Hope this information is helpful to you and I answered your query. Feel free to ask for further related query.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Regards
