What Causes Cough And Fever While On Lanzol?

Question: Hi,
My son is 6.5 years, he is having stomach ache and cough. He has been prescribed junior lanzol 15mg twice and Sucrafil suspension 500mg. His stomach ache is reduced but he has cough. If he takes cough syrup he gets fever due to stomach ache. Cough gets increased with cough syrup. What to give for cough? Please advise

Based on your history your son probably has here and allergic cough.
1. Ask your Pediatrician about starting domperidone which might help in decreasing gerd.
2. If not improving get him examined for chest signs .
3. X-ray may be required for persistent cough.
4. Continue junior lanzol now.

Thanks Sir, doctor has prescribed augmenten duo 5ml thrice daily for 5 days along with lunior lanzol 15 mg twice and Sucrafil 5 ml thrice daily. Chest x-ray was done and told thst he has mild infection. He still has stomach ache, is it good to give antibiotic now?
