Brief Answer:
Sometimes stool gets hardened and impacted.

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to Health care magic,
Sometimes stool gets hardened and impacted.
Please wear gloves, lubricate the index finger well with glycerin and gently try to manually remove the hard stools.
You can also try a home enema.
Once the hard stools are removed, the laxatives/suppositories will start acting.
Please check thyroid functions.
You can revert back to me.
Regards
