Question: Hi,...77 yr old male,recent diagnosis mildParkinson ,cyst on brain,benign possibly..constant dripping,flowing clear mucus from nose,mucus in chest /uses boxes of Kleenex-per week...allergy specialist can find nothing. Ear nose and throat specialist exchausted all types nose drops and medicines..as over the counter all allergy doesn't help..A lot of flowing while eating..Foods and drinks make him cough..Exposed to all kinds of particles of concrete,asphalt,and other contaminants early in mining,bridge building,road building life...Please,need relief of drying up this constant condition..thank you very much

In my opinion, you should give him oral steroids and see if there is an improvement or not.
Oral steroids is the last option if everything else is failed.
He can take prednisone 1mg/kg of body weight.
Dose should be reduced over 1 month.
