Question: I am diagnosed with flux-disease/232326?iL=true" >GERD and lately had lots of symptoms. I was put on PPI and suddenly after i had flu.. I am feeling chill all the time. Its been like more than 2 months dealing with this. I had my blood work and chest xray and everything looks normal. I am curious since i have been worrying too much about all these things. Is this stress that is causing chills. my main symptom is persistent chills with hot flashes some times. My primaryu care physician says he is not able to figure out anything and asks me to visit infectious disease specialist. Please guide. I am also attaching my blood test results that i got yesterday. I am unable to attach.but seems everything is okay

Brief Answer:
no reports, plz get some more work up

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic.
The symptoms you are having are suggesting some underlying inflammatory condition.
It is very unlikely for the flu symptoms to last that long.
You should get examined by a local internal medicine practitioner with reports of Complete blood counts, liver function test, urine routine and culture, blood cultures and chest Xray, it is also highly advisable that you get an ultrasound of whole abdomen to see if there is any focus.
You should review proactive way because delaying may increase problems.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.

Hi Doc,

I have done CT scan for chest, I got my ultrasound for abdomen, I got all complete blood test. All reports are normal. Chills are mild not very aggressive. I have to do urine culture, blood culture and Liver functional test and my ESR also came back normal. One of the doc suggested me that i might have stress? I dont have fever at all.

Thanks,
XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
aerobics and a short course treatment

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back.
Since you have been examined by local clinicians without much findings. Investigations also came normal.
But your suffering is apparent. One possibility is stress and the other is intercurrent mild viral infection.
Do light aerobics exercises which is a good stress beater. Ensure you have time to relax towards evenings everyday.
You should keep yourself well hydrated with salted juices and soups.
Decongestants and multivitamin and antioxidants supplement for about a week may help you a lot.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
