Question: hi
I having cold & body pains since last three days. I have taken some cold & fever tablet. I got relief from fever & body pain.But still cold exists.Felling as if something struck in throat. can you please suggest some medicine.

I am sorry about your current health concern. I am glad that there is relief from fever and body pain. Just make sure that you do not get it again and frequently, in which case we will have to do a routine blood test to confirm the cause.

Now, as for the medicine, you only require symptomatic treatment for the cold now and for the something struck feeling in the throat. For this, I would suggest Tablet Cetrizine 10mg in the night after dinner for 3 nights. Along with this, you must do steam inhalation thrice daily and warm salt water gargling thrice daily as well. Please note that Cetrizine is a prescription medicine and you have to get it prescribed by your doctor.

Keep yourself warm with warm clothes. Avoid direct Air conditioner and cold environment.

Take hot soups and green tea that would be soothing for your cold and throat problem.

You should be fine in a couple of days.
