Thank you. I had lots of loose bowels and some bleeding for the past two weeks. I believe from food poisoning. . After testing my stools and they came back negative, my doctor thought it probably was a type of clamydia(spelling?) and called for this medicine. I have had no pain these last three days. I was doing the BRAT diet(rice, apple sauce etc) but today felt I could eat a little butter, meat and vegetables and finally see some stools. Tonight l had for the first time in my life XXXXXXX and after reading that this was to be looked at immediately I checked in with your website. I did have my gall bladder removed50 years ago and haven't had any pain or trouble on my right side

Other medications: aricept for early stage alzheimers. Otherwise just lots of vitamins and supplements but halted all of them except the aricept these past 3 days.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
You might have developed dysentery.
I would advise in such situation to take a combination of Ofloxacin and Ornidazole.
The symptoms you have mentioned are unlikely to be due to Azithromycin.
I would also advise you to take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day and a probiotic like Bifilac/ Sporolac.
This should get fine in 3 days.
Discuss with your doctor regarding my opinion.
If you have any further query please ask me.
