Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the query.

At the age of 37, most common cause of chronic long standing headaches is gastritis and acidity problems. Taking antacids daily can solve the issue.

But if she does not respond to this treatment, then other causes of headache should be looked for. For e.g- Eye related problems, Chronic sunusutis (especially allergic sinusitis ).

An eye examination from a opthalmologist and a CT Paranasal sinuses can rule out these possibilities.

Gross Hormonal variations can also cause unexplained headaches .

Rare possibility is a raised intra cranial pressure due to underlying neurological pathology. This can be ruled out by CT scan of the brain.

I suggest you to have a step by step approach. Consult a physician and get a primary examination done. Depending upon this, the physician may advice you necessary investigations.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any doubts that you may have.

Thank you.

Kind regards.
