What Causes Chronic Halitosis?
Question: I have chronic halitosis and white tongue with reddish dots on it (image attached) for 8 years now. My dentist suggested me the main cause is some other medical condition. I also have sinus and suffer from post nasal drip all the time. I even considered Sinus Surgery but recently i came across a yeast called CANDIDA. I have most of the symtoms of Candida(As slated on internet). I have sinus, oral thrush, fatigue, constipation and skin rashes. Is it even real medical condition and how should I treat it. And which doctor to consult because I guess most of the doctors will treat symtoms rather than underlying cause.

You have furring of the tongue but that is of little value as an indication of disease.
You have developed oral candidiasis .It usually occurs after a course of antibiotic or in immuno-compromised host(e.g. HIV infection).Other predisposing condition is neutropenia and diabetes.You can check your complete blood count and blood sugar fasting and post-prandial.
Oral candidiasis can be treated with topical azole or topical nystatin lotion.Sometimes Fluconazole oral (400 mg/d) may be needed.
Since your dentist suspects some underlying disease,it will be better to consult a physician (MD- Internal medicine) first.
