Brief Answer:
Possible Secretory diarrhoea.Relatively curable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can understand your concerns.

Your husband possibly seem to have secretory diarrhoea, considering normal colonoscopy and gastric tests.

Gallbladder polyp is not associated with any features like loose stool.

Secretory diarrhoea is strongly associated with lactose intolerance.

I request you update me complete stool report with culture and sensitivity on your follow up query.

I am particularly interested in stool pH and anion gap.

If the results favour secretory diarrhoea, then a short course of probiotics and antibitics will help.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Secretory diarrhea is a treatable condition.Get the prescribed stool test.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXXX

I can certainly understand your concerns

Secretory diarrhoea can be fixed. This is a distinct form of diarrhoea.

This condition is largely treatable.

Lactose(carbohydrate intolerance) will cause secretory diarrhoea.

Gallbladder polyps will not cause this kind of diarrhoea.

For confirmation of secretory diarrhoea, I advise your husband to get a complete stool analysis with pH and anion gap description.

Based on above reports specific treatment can be given to successfully control the symptoms.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
