Brief Answer:
Antibiotics are ineffective

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

Most often cough and cold are due to viral infections where antibiotics are ineffective and unnecessary. Cepodem XP is an antibiotic and should not be given unless the WBC count is high or unless there is wheezing.

Give your child steam inhalation. Water in form of vapor reaches deep inside and helps in diluting the cough.

Irrespective of treatment viral infections spontaneously resolve in 5-7 days.

Steam inhalation also tried earlier but she was not able to take. She is 3 years and having 14 Kg weight. "KEFLOR" will be a good choice for her? Do you refer any other anti-biotic instate of Cepodem XP?

Her current medicines:-
Ascoril LS (3ml and 3 times), Montina-L (5ml one time), Omnacqrtil (6ml and two times), Cepodem XP (3ml and two times), Budecort-100 and Levolin inhaler.

Brief Answer:
Get her blood counts and CRP level checked

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

keflor (cefaclor) is also an antibiotic and as I mentioned, antibiotics are unnecessary unless the WBC count is raised. If apprehensive get the blood tested and decide as per results. Other medicines are proper and adequate.
